Advanced Practice Nurse (M) Critical Care Job

Day The Section of Critical Care in the Department of Anesthesiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to partner with 12 multidisciplinary Critical Care physicians as they care for medical and surgical patients admitted to the intensive care units. The Nurse Practitioner will work the majority of time providing longitudinal coordination of inpatient care including discharge planning, palliative and preventive care, wound care, and quality improvement. The primary responsibility of the Nurse Practitioner is the direct application of clinical expertise to patients and families being managed in a tertiary care teaching medical center, including responsibility for maintaining quality of care standards for all procedures performed and all clinical care provided to a specified patient population. The Nurse Practitioner will be fully integrated into the ongoing functions of this Section, such as Journal Club, Research Projects, Teaching Rounds, and Quality Improvement Projects
