2300 -0730 Night At the direction of the C.S.R. Leaders, assume responsibility for the primary sterilization and decontamination of all general and specialty surgical instrumentation. Order assigned products for surgery; perform assembly, inventory, and sterilization of all instrumentation and equipment. To perform these functions, the proficient use and proper safety procedures related to glutaraldehyde and ethylene oxide must be adhered to. Walking and standing for long periods, as well as lifting heavy equipment is required. 20 hift differential. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school graduate required. One year of C.S.R. experience preferred. Basic computer skills helpful. Must begin a two part certification in a Central Service Technician program after one full year of employment. Once certification program has begun, must obtain certification within one year
