A registered nurse who under the direct supervision of the Coordinator assist in supervising, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the operation of an assigned nursing unit. Responsibilities include provision of proper nursing environment, maintenance of quality patient care, compliance with physician orders, hospital policies and nursing standards. He/she is responsible for 12 hours accountability and spends 15f time in management. Participating in call for weekends as required. The patient population primarily served is usually adults age 18 to geriatrics. Participates in rotating call schedule.
