Coordinates the daily operation of assigned unit, including but not limited to, unit coordination; team building. Participates in interviewing, hiring, and corrective action process. Leads by example, demonstrating leadership abilities in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Bon Secours. Directs patient care activities of the nursing staff by assuring the delivery of safe, efficient, therapeutic, and compassionate nursing care. Participates in budget development and monitors compliance with budgetary parameters. Has 24 hour accountability for area of responsibility. Requires RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or multistate licensure. Prefers recent clinical experience in area of responsibility.
