Coding Specialist III Coding Job
Location: Lebanon NH - New Hampshire

8am - 5pm Day OR TEAM At the direction of the Director or Manager, review medical records of discharged patients to ensure that diagnoses and procedures have been recorded. As part of the DRG, ED or Inpatient OR Coding team, collect, code, and compile medical record data for future retrieval, reports, and reimbursement purposes. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school graduate with a minimum of 5 years of coding experience required. Previous DRG, ED or OR CPT-4 Coding preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing with all levels of staff. CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT certification required
