Communications Specialist DHMC Public Affairs/Marketing Job

Day Bachelor's of Arts At the general direction of the Director of Internal Communications and the Director of Marketing, assume responsibility for coordinating print projects and generating a variety of communications material, such as articles, brochures, internal communications, letters or memos, and other projects as assigned, typically under tight deadlines and with the assumption of rapid turnaround time. Assume primary responsibility for research, writing, and coordinating interviews as necessary. Work with internal clients to determine their communication needs and evaluate level of support from PA & M. Work with production team members – designers, photographers, web content producers, freelancers and/or others– to assemble final creative and ensure the efficient production and timely distribution of collateral. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or English, with 3 years of writing/editing experience, or the equivalent required. Strong written and verbal communications skills required. Previous experience in office administration required. Experience working in a medical setting preferred
