Director-NCCC QI & Pat Safety Cancer Services Division Job

Location: Lebanon NH - New Hampshire

8am - 5pm Day At the direction of the Vice President and the Medical Director for NCCC in close collaboration with Dartmouth Hitchcock Office of Quality and Patient Safety, provide the overall leadership and direction for the development and implementation of the NCCC Quality Management Plan responsibility for implementing performance improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting patient safety and staff safety. Develop a systematic, center-wide approach to identifying, designing, measuring, prioritizing and monitoring all quality management activities in NCCC, including new processes and services. This includes all the domains of quality, from patient safety, to reduced clinical variation through evidenced-based practice, and customization of care processes. It also includes collaboration with faculty and staff for all inpatient and outpatient departments in pursuit of performance and quality improvement. Plan, direct, and coordinate programs designed to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical effectiveness. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : Master’s degree or equivalent in business, public health, nursing or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of progressive hospital/nursing management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Evidence of competence/experience in quality improvement and patient safety tools and methodologies including statistical analysis, epidemiology, and clinical decision support systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and implement quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across large complex organizations. Evidence of experience in successful administration and leadership of organizational quality management
