Professional Nurse Director responsible for the overall management of a designated unit. The nurse manager is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating all nursing care provided in his/her designated unit, continually evaluating desired outcomes and ongoing opportunities for continuous improvement. The scope of care will be to patients of all ages (birth to death).
