The Director Nursing-Critical Care is responsible for planning, orga shy;nizing and directing nursing management of patient care in ICU, ETC and Surgical Services. The director serves collaboratively with the Director Nursing-Acute Care, as chief initiator of effective nursing care. This position provides leadership and guidance to promote the high shy;est quality of care possible for the patient. Establish goals, ob shy;jectives, standards of performance; develop operating policies and procedures; interpret hospital policies, standards and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff and public. This is achieved through consultation with the Director Nursing-Acute Care, Administration and consistent with hospi shy;tal philosophy.
