Luther Midelfort-Mayo Health System, in Eau Claire , Wisconsin , is seeking a physician BC/BE in Emergency Medicine to work in our Level II trauma center. ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required. Ultrasound certification will be required once on staff. 130 hours per month clinical time may be expected. Four different shifts are covered in the ED, of which three are nine-hour shifts and one is a 12-hour shift. There are 15 hours of double coverage each day. EMR and PACS. The new 20,000 square foot emergency department opened on 10/1/08 . The department has 18 beds and a fast-track program Completion of a 6-bed decision making until is planned for 2009.
