Carilion Medical Associates of Galax is searching for two full-time Family Physicians to take over the well-established patient base of a husband-and-wife team who recently retired after 30+ years of practicing in our group. We also welcome individuals looking for job-sharing opportunities and are extremely flexible and open-minded to individuals looking for these type of arrangements.

Galax Internal Medicine houses an impressive lab and x-ray equivalent to small hospital lab & xray departments. Sophisticated EMR, centralized patient registration and billing. Twin County Regional Hospital, the 149-bed community owned not-for-profit hospital, is conveniently located adjacent to the practice.

Minimum Qualifications: ABMS/AOA-BC/BE in Family Practice, with plan in place to sit for Boards; Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license and DEA. Positions available immediately. Graduating residents encouraged to apply.
