Provide nursing care to patients in their homes who are referred with a variety of home care/home infusion needs. Assess patient condition and indentify problems. Plan and prioritize patient care in coordination with other health care staff. Administer therapeutic interventions. Instruct patients in their care. Attend to patient comfort and safety. To be competitive applicants must be registered nurse and possess current license to practice in Virginia. Previous related nursing experience demonstrating ability to function independently as a home care nurse is required. Unit pay is equivalent to $53 per admission visit, $27 per follow-up visit, $45 per visit requiring highly technical skills, $25 per weekday on call, and $105 per weekend on call. Employment in this job is conditioned upon satisfactory completion of a drug test. BLS Certification required within 60 days of hire. BLS
