IOM Technologist Neuro Diagnostics Job

8am - 5pm Day Under the general supervision of the Medical Director of the Neurodiagnostics Department and the Manager of Neurodiagnostics, setup and perform intraoperative monitoring procedures, including MEPs, SSEPs, BAERs, EMGs and EEGs. Work with minimal supervision in the OR setting, and with a high degree of interaction with responsible medical staff. Depending on the level of OR cases, will also perform and help to train junior technical staff in intraoperative monitoring as well as other neurodiagnostic tests, including EEG, evoked potentials and long-term monitoring. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5 years of experience in neurodiagnostic testing in both and outpatient and inpatient environment required. CNIM registration with a minimum of 3-years of intraoperative monitoring experience, or a minimum of 300 intraoperative monitoring cases completed in the last 5 years. Excellent organizational and communication skills , and college-level work in biological or engineering science preferred, but not required. Maturity and ability to work independently at a high technical and professional level, as well as maintaining good rapport with other departmental/hospital staff and patients
