Lab Assistant Lab.-Blood Bank Job

Day M-F, day shift At the direction of the Section Supervisor or designee, and with instruction from technologists, perform clerical and Lab Assistant duties within the Blood Bank. Per diem lab assistant needed to backfill for Blood Bank lab assistant who is working on the LIS Cerner Millennium upgrade, conversion to international blood labeling standard project (ISBT128), and the donor room computer upgrade project through mid to late 2009 MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school graduate required. Previous phlebotomy experience preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment required
