Under direct departmental supervision of a Technical Specialist Supervisor or Medical Technologist. Follows established policies and procedures, assists staff, management, physicians, patients/families and visitors by performing various duties including, but not limited to, phlebotomy, specimen receiving and processing, waived laboratory testing, clerical/office functions, computer functions and reception/information functions.
