Med-Surg/Telemetry (2nd Floor) Manager

The Manager executes direct administration of the Second Floor Med/Surg/Telemetry Department as evidenced by achieving results in clinical quality, service excellence, human resources management and
financial management. The Second Floor Manager assists in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the growth and development of med/surg/telemetry services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must demonstrate customer service excellence skills at time level appropriate to leadership role
*Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure or Temporary Practical Permit required
*Bachelor Degree in Nursing or related health care field preferred or completion of Bachelor’s Degree within 5 years of start date in manager role required
*Master Degree in Nursing or related health care field preferred Progressive and successful work history required Specialty certification preferred Minimum of 2 years current experience in medical/surgical/telemetry required
*Minimum of 2 years management experience in acute care setting required and 2 years management experience in medical/surgical/telemetry preferred
*Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills with physicians and all other members of the health care team
