8-4:30 Day Reporting to the Director, Clinical Trial Business Operations (CTBO) supervise and support a team of Clinical Trial Business Operations Associates with the completion of various tasks related to the initiation and administrative management of clinical trials. These tasks include the development of Medicare Coverage Analyses for all clinical trials, the maintenance of the Dartmouth study and patient registry including related document management , assisting research teams with the preparation of budgets for all studies, supporting study feasibility assessments and participating in resource meetings, ensuring that all required internal and external approvals have been granted prior to initiating the study, reviewing patient care bills for consistency with the MCA, and other related study management. In addition to supervising the team of CTBO Associates, the CTBO Manager is responsible for providing quality assurance reviews on all MCAs, budgets, and bill reviews and helping to enforce the various business operations policies and procedures. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting with demonstrated knowledge of Clinical Trial billing compliance and pre-award activities required. Knowledge of Coding preferred. Strong competency in Microsoft Excel and Word required. Knowledge of Velos preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and/or commercial payer benefits preferred.
