Works under the supervision of the Executive Director of Heart and Vascular Services The CVOR Nurse Manager also has accountability to the Director of Surgical Services The Nurse Manager's primary job function is to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care in the surgery unit according to the policies and procedures Documents ongoing nursing process Accepts responsibility for direction of CVOR staff in implementation of care plans.
