The Per Diem Occupational Therapist II develops and delivers occupational therapy services to patients specific to age and developmental level by assessment, program planning, provision of treatment. Provides functional supervision to occupational therapy personnel assisting in patient treatment. Must be a Graduate from an approved School of Occupational Therapy. Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy or eligibility for certification required. Licensure by the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Current American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider CPR certification. Minimum one year full time experience as an OT I, or equivalent, treating pediatric patients. Broad knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices. Ability to work weekends.
