Must possess skills to act as attendant in charge of ground transport team, providing ALS BLS care to patients requiring transport both on and off the Carilion campus. High school graduate or equivalent and successful completion of approved paramedic program, AD preferred. At least one year active experience as a Cardiac or at paramedic level and one year experience at skill level required. Good interpersonal skills a must. Excellent communication skills (written verbal) essential. Must be able to handle high stress situations. NREMTP, Virginia Paramedic Certificate, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, or BTLS, and CPR required. Must have EVOC and State and National Registry Certifications.
