DESCRIPTION:

Encompassing 600 beds over its Downtown and Southwest Fort Worth campuses, this Medical Center serve more than 100,000 people annually through its two hospitals, several primary care and specialty physician clinics and the Rehabilitation and Fitness Center.

This Medical Center is the only liver and pancreas transplant program; performs innovative cardiac procedures such as patent foramen ovale and alcohol septal ablation through the Regional Heart Center; and provides a broad base of oncology services, including chemotherapy, brachytherapy, diagnostic testing and surgical services, that are often directed through site-specific cancer clinics. Currently constructing a brand new Women's Services Hospital, which will add 257 new beds to the facility. Coupled with advanced technology is a passionate focus on staff development and continuing education, with dedicated educators, in-house CE courses and tuition reimbursement.

On PCU, we provide care to all phases of the cardiac patient to include pre and post surgery, pre and post cath and interventions, AMI, titrating drips and much more. PCU has a 1:4 nurse patient ratio with 24-hour tech support and unit secretary/monitor tech support. Our unit is spacious and our patient rooms and bathrooms are all privateand every bed is telemetry capable. All of this combined provides an excellent place to give and receive care.

The Center has a patient centered work environment that focuses on educational advancement for our nursing staff. The Clinical Manager manages and coordinates activities of Nursing and Support Staff in large unit or multiple units to ensure patient care is provided in accordance with established standards and legal requirements. Ensures continuity of care is maintained during all shifts of unit/units providing 24-hour patient care. Develops, reviews, revises, submit, and implements goals, procedures, and objectives for assigned Nursing units. Develops, submits, and administers budgets for assigned area. Monitors, evaluates, and modifies staffing patterns in order to properly utilize Nursing and Support Staff to provide patient care.

REQUIRED:

Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing is required.
Current Texas RN license required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience is required in a nursing management role in.
BLS and ACLS are required.
