The PRN Pool is a staffing pool formed for the purpose of providing readily available, qualified RN’s to supplement regularly staffed employees in times of unpredictable absences, FMLA absences, vacancies, or in time of excess census PRN Pool RNs require one year of acute care experience and must work a minimum of 24 hours in a 2-week period The PRN Pool staff member is required to float to a minimum of 2 units with an option of picking up more additional units PRN staff members will receive classroom orientation and clinical orientation, and must demonstrate competency in the required areas of expertise Pay is $45.00/hr plus evening, night or weekend differentials.
