Regularly Days but some evenings and weekends occasionally Day JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of the Patient Safety and Training Center , assist project developers to design and implement innovative educational strategies for different levels and types of training. This will include assessment methods and faculty development aimed at meeting quality improvement project goals and patient safety initiatives at DHMC. Work to ensure that all aspects of the operation, maintenance, support and trouble-shooting of associated equipment will run efficiently on a daily basis . MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in healthcare or nursing with a minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience or the equivalent in education and experience required . Masters degree preferred. Experience in an educator role with critical care environment experience preferred. Familiarity with personal computers is essential, particularly windows-based environments, electronic mail, and spreadsheets. Aptitude/familiarity with audio/visual equipment is also desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills desired. Must be able to work autonomously with very little supervision and independently establish goals and objectives for higher level review. Attention to accuracy and detail and strong time management skills desired
