Day, Evenings, Weekends Day MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Associates degree (preferably in a science of health related field) with two years of Senior Pharmacy Technician experience in the DHMC inpatient pharmacy or 4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician at the DHMC inpatient pharmacy or the equivalent required. Must meet all expectations of the Pharmacy Technician position and have substantial knowledge of technician duties. Must demonstrate a high level of precision, responsibility, efficiency and judgment. Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills are necessary. JOB SUMMARY: · Support the existing computer systems and assist in installing new systems: o Install major and minor upgrades, working with users to minimize disruption of service. o Assist with systems administration functions as required (e.g. maintain lists of users, etc.). o Troubleshoot problems that are reported by users and provide technical assistance, whenever possible. o Report problems to the Service Center for resolution. o Assist the Service Center personnel to recreate problems. o Assist with testing software fixes and enhancements prior to moving to production. o Provide appropriate training and feedback to users, enabling them to use the systems appropriately. o Support the interface and the ADT, Robot and ADM systems
