Quality Measurement Analyst Quality and Patient Safety Job

Day JOB SUMMARY: At the direction of the Director of Quality and Patient Safety act as an internal consultant to further measurement, reporting and improvement efforts based on organizational priorities. Develop a robust systematic measurement and reporting systems for QI and safety efforts that supports external transparency of performance results and internal improvements in quality. Expand the capabilities of clinicians, managers and administrators by providing them with resources (i.e., skills, knowledge, data and time) to accomplish specific objectives relating to measurement and improvement. Foster and support change within the organization. Scheduled: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Excellent analytic and computer skills (proficient with Excel) required. This is a two-year term-limited, benefited, position. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of combined information systems management and research, and/or program development in health care required. Prior clinical practice preferred. Master's degree preferred. Previous experience in management of complex projects and interaction with information systems required. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, with experience in the concepts and applications of measurement and continuous improvement are essential
