RN-Cardiac Cath

Has responsibility and accountability for quality nursing care in assessing, planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with all established Hospital Policies Procedures and the Nursing Practice Act. Will assist with all aspects of coronary intervention , including angioplasty, atherectomy, stent, rotoblator, permanent pacemaker, and internal cardiac defibrillator insertions and for the care of the patient before, during, and after the EP Procedure and for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team This is a shared responsibility position for the Cath/EP Lab. Previous Cardiac Cath lab experience and/or critical care experience preferred. Emergency on call hours are at a minimum of one time per week and every 4th - 6th weekend with a holiday rotation for on-call approximately 2 major holidays per year on a rotating basis. Must live within 30 minute radius of hospital. Will typically work four 10-hour shifts per week. Missouri RN license and ACLS required.
