Provides care to ECT patients, including patient education, preparation and recovery services in accordance with physician orders. Responsible for preparation of all equipment for patient use and preparation of treatment room for use by both attending psychiatrist and anesthesiologist. Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont and hold current ACLS and CPR certification. A minimum of one year psychiatric and/or medical-surgical experience.
