Current Arkansas license or temporary permit. CPR - HCP. Minimum score of 80n basic medication proficiency exam. ACLS/ PALS within 1 year of hire. Conscious Sedation Course (within 6 months of hire). Assessment of physical, psychosocial, educational spiritual patient needs. Develop, implement and coordinate plan of care. Provide patient/ family education. Identify discharge needs and risk factors. Therapeutic communication skills. Competence in basic nursing skills. Ability to organize and prioritize patient care. Managing all assigned personnel and promoting team work. Preceptor to new employees. Ability to climb stairs.
