Provides direct bedside patient care on a unit that regularly staffs RNs on a 24 hour, 7 day per week basis. Assesses patients’ needs and develops an individualized plan of care for each patient. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.Licensure/Certification: Current license in the State of Florida. Maintains current BLS certification, and other certifications as required. Experience: Based on area of assignment, two years of hospital experience may be required. Must meet unit specific performance competencies.
