Utilizes the nursing process, incorporates other clinical disciplines into the process and coordinates the care while acting as the patient advocate. Participates in-patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice. Current Vermont RN or RNA license. Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Successfully completed a course in External Fetal Monitoring within six months of hire. Satisfactory completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Certification. Provides family centered care competently for patients in Newborn Nursery, Labor, Delivery, Post Partum and Pediatrics.
