Responsibilities: The Radiation Oncology nurse is responsible for providing a continuum of care for the radiation patients; from day of consultation through yearly follow up The RN will assist the physician with the initial, daily weekly assessments, manage patient records (EMR) with documentation of health assessments, education and planned treatment courses, manage physician's daily schedule, order and schedule diagnostic exams, consultations, physician appts., charge EM procedures and participate as needed with the registration and insurance precertification processes
