Supervises and coordinates daily admitting and intake process to ensure that patients are admitted properly and that all relevant information and preliminary screening/assessment is performed appropriately. Supervises evening Admissions Coordinator and switchboard operator staff. Qualifications include: Vermont RN licensure or eligibility for Vermont licensure and a minimum of three years experience in behavioral health. Two years of management experience required. Must have knowledge of managed care, insurance benefit verification and pre-certification requirements, knowledge of level of care criteria for behavioral health. Must be computer literate, have knowledge of PC environment, and have data entry and typing skills.
