Provides direct and indirect patient care to perioperative patients through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating care rendered. Care provided will address physical, psychosocial, rehabilitative, and discharge needs of the patient and his/her family. Guides and supervises assigned nursing personnel, collaborates with other health care professionals and coordinates ancillary staff. Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Operating room experience within the past 1 year preferred. Licensure: Current licensure as an RN in the state of Tennessee or multi-state license. BLS Healthcare provider required. ACLS preferred, PALS preferred, CNOR preferred.
