The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the coordination and provision of direct patient care, setting up and operating various types of respiratory therapy equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness Ability to institute and maintain life saving measures is required Graduate of an AMA accredited educational program for Respiratory Therapy. Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care is required. Registration is expected within one-year of hire date. Must have license to practice respiratory care in the State of Vermont. Prior experience not necessary, but desirable. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Rev. 02/09
