Provides continuum of services including prevention, identification, evaluation, consultation, and treatment of patients regarding speech, language, oral and pharyngeal sensorimotor function and underlying processes including cognitive skills, memory, attention, perception and auditory processing. Plans and conducts medically prescribed speech language treatment to develop and/or restore communication functioning and to help patients reach their maximum communication performance level. Master of Arts or Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and NC licensure in Speech-Language is required. One year experience required.
