OR Nurse Training for RN's w/acute care exp. Feb 2010 Day RN Required The Perioperative 101 training course for Registered Nurses who wished to be trained to work as a Perioperative Nurse is scheduled to begin February 2010. Applicants are required to have a minimum of one year of recent acute hospital nursing experience working as a Registered Nurse . Interested in working for one of the top medical centers in the region, Level I Trauma Center, where nurses can specialize and yet still diversify? The OR with 26 spacious high-tech suites may be just what you're looking for. Both inpatient and outpatient procedures are done in these ORs, care is provided to patients of all ages - from neonate, pediatric to adult and geriatric. RN's will be trained for both the circulator and scrub roles. Training will combine classroom learning and clinical experiences in the OR.
