Location: Lebanon NH - New Hampshire

6:30 pm - 6:30 am Night Associate's Degree Fulltime. 6:30 pm -6:30 am. Every other weekend and some holidays. At the direction of the Respiratory Care Director, a dminister respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, by prescription and departmental protocols within the medical center. Assigned duties are carried out according to policies and procedures approved by the Medical Director, with minimal or indirect supervision, often requiring independent decisions. In collaboration with the DHART crew, assess, provide and evaluate patient care within aircraft, ground ambulance or within the hospital setting for assigned patients in conjunction with all members of the health care team. Perform interventions as outlined in the DHART Clinical Protocols or as directed by online medical control. Contribute to critical excellence in airway and ventilation management as well as diverse experience in management and transport of the critically ill and injured of all ages. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: RCP currently eligible for licensure in the State of NH with three years of tertiary care center (Level I) Critical Care RRT experience in the care of adult, pediatric, or neonatal patients preferred. Current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS and /or NRP required. Previous transport experience preferred. Within one year of hire must complete certification in a trauma course (PHTLS, BTLS, or TNCC). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team required. Completion of DHART orientation program required prior to being assigned as a team member. Must be capable of meeting DHART mandatory physical requirements as verified by the DHMC Occupational Medicine Service during pre-employment screening physical examination, and then yearly as required
